1. Introduction

Welcome to Studio Jie. By placing an order, browsing our website, or signing up for our emails, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns and Refunds Policy, govern your relationship with us. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

2. The Studio Jie store

Studio Jie is a bags and accessories label built by a father and son, George and Zvi Jie. We sell premium bags and accessories online through studiojie.com. Our store is powered by Shopify.

3. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, for example in the case of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or stock issues. If we cancel an order on our side, we refund any amount already paid.

You confirm that the information you provide at checkout, including name, delivery address, and payment details, is accurate and complete.

4. Prices and payment

All prices on studiojie.com are in euro and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown on each product page and at checkout. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the moment of order, including on preorder items.

Promotional codes, including WELCOME10 for first time subscribers, cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. Codes are valid once per customer.

5. Shipping and delivery

Shipping, carriers, and delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy. For preorder items, the expected shipping window is shown on the product page and in your order confirmation.

Risk of loss passes to you once the item is handed to the carrier. Any late delivery claim must be made within a reasonable time after the stated delivery window.

6. Returns and withdrawal

Returns, order cancellations, and the EU right of withdrawal are set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy. Please read that policy carefully before placing a preorder.

7. Warranty and conformity

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal right to goods that conform to the sales contract. If an item is defective or does not match its description, we will repair, replace, or refund it in line with EU conformity rules. This right exists in addition to any voluntary return window we offer.

Normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, and damage caused by accidents are not covered. Pangi lining fabric and natural materials may show small variations between pieces. These variations are part of the character of the product and are not defects.

8. Intellectual property

The Studio Jie name, logo, product designs, website design, photography, campaign materials, and written content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights. You may view the website for personal use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of our content without our written permission.

9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the website:

  • For any unlawful purpose, or to encourage others to act unlawfully
  • To upload or transmit malicious code
  • To attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
  • To scrape, data mine, or use automated tools, including AI agents, to collect data from the website without written permission
  • To impersonate another person, or to use the website on behalf of someone else without authority

We may suspend or close your account, cancel orders, or refuse service if we believe you have breached these terms.

10. Liability

We take reasonable care to describe our products accurately. Small differences in colour and texture may occur between screen and physical product. These are not a defect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Jie is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or your purchase. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer, including under Book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business or applicable law. The current version is always posted on this page. Material changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national consumer protection authority.

13. Legal entity

Studio Jie is operated by Zeventienent, a company registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 94129584. All contact with Studio Jie goes through info@studiojie.com.
